Javier Zanetti has rubbished claims Inter are tired following their Champions League exit.
“It’s true we made a big push to get back on track from January, maybe we are being made to pay for that, but it should not be an excuse,” Zanetti told the press. “We are disappointed, but no one can question this group. We can find the petrol for the end of term, there are still six games in the league, and there is also the Coppa Italia. We have to give 100 per cent in the games which remain. And we will see what happens.”
The Nerazzurri are five points behind league leaders AC Milan and play Parma this weekend before meeting Roma in the Coppa next week.
