Ronaldinho could be set to leave AC Milan this summer, according to his brother and agent Roberto Assis. Recent reports suggested the 29-year-old could stay in Milan if coach Carlo Ancelotti leaves the club, but speculation over his future nevertheless persists.
While a move within Europe is a likely scenario, Assis has ruled out Ronaldinho following in the footsteps of Ronaldo and Adriano by returning to his native Brazil.
“There is no chance of Ronaldinho going back like Ronaldo and Adriano,” Assis told O Estado de Sao Paulo newspaper. “But if you ask me whether he could change teams in Europe, I would say yes.”
Ronaldinho arrived in Italy from Barcelona at the end of last season and has been linked with a move to big-spending Manchester City.
