The BBC is reporting that Tottenham Hotspur have sacked coach Juande Ramos and sporting director Damien Comolli and are set to appoint Portsmouth boss Harry Redknapp. Also going is first team coaches Gus Poyet and Marcos Alvarez.
Ramos’ last game in charge was Thursday’s defeat to Udinese in the Uefa Cup, so why fire Ramos on the eve of their home game against Bolton? Why not fire Ramos on Friday and give Clive Allen will take charge of Sunday’s game against Bolton a couple of days to prepare for this relegation battle?
I am surprised that Redknapp is taking the job. Maybe be things that he has gone as far as he can with Portsmouth who are having major financial problems.
