Bayern Munich’s Franck Ribery is set to miss the Champions League final on 22 May after being banned for three games.
Ribery was shown a straight red card by Italian referee Roberto Rosetti in the Champions League semi-final against Lyon. He missed last nights Bayern win in France through suspension, but had hoped to play in the final.
But UEFA imposed a three game suspension on Ribery, which means that he misses not only the Champions League Final against either Barcelona or Inter Milan in Madrid as well as the first European match next season.
