Real Zaragoza have continued to strengthen their squad ahead of their return to La Liga after reaching an agreement to sign Ikechukwu Uche from Getafe.
Uche joins Jermaine Pennant and goalkeeper Juan Pablo Carrizo as Zaragoza’s third signing of the summer.
A club statement read:
“Real Zaragoza, Getafe and Uche have arrived at a principle agreement where, pending a medical, the Nigerian striker will spend the next four seasons with the Aragones club.”
The 25-year-old’s transfer is thought to be costing Zaragoza five million euros due to the price put on the forward’s head by Getafe president Angel Torres.
