The New York Red Bulls will open their new stadium, called Red Bull Arena, with an exhibition game against Santos of Brazil on March 20.
The Red Bulls MLS regular-season home opener will be the following week against Chicago.
Santos has won 17 Paulista Championships, including in 2006 and 2007. It is renowned as the club where Pele started his career in 1956 at age 15. Santos has also won two Brazilian Championships, in 2002 and 2004.
