The MLS Team Of Week has four members of the Colorado Rapids, after they took apart FC Dallas 4-0 last Friday. Interestingly, the starting XI from whoscored.com, includes players from only four teams, the Rapids, Red Bulls, Houston Dynamo and LA Galaxy.
It is not often that Player of the Week honors goes to a goalkeeper in a winning cause, but that is the case with Galaxy goalkeeper Jaime Penedo who was brilliant in LA’s 1-0 win over the Seattle Sounders at the weekend. Penedo made 10 saves, six of them massive and four of them on Lamar Neagle alone, in helping the Galaxy register only their second win of the season.
