The data experts at whoscored.com have put together their Major League Soccer Team of the Week, for week five of the season.
The Vancouver Whitecaps had two players in the best XI, defender Kendall Waston and midfielder Kekuta Manneh. Also breaking into the team was New England Revolution defender Darrius Barnes, who might be playing the best soccer of his career at the moment.
The player of the week award should go to Waston, who was outstanding in the Whitecaps 2-0 win over the LA Galaxy. Watson had 9 interceptions, 11 clearances and won 7 aerials challenge in a dominating performance.
