Roberto Mancini is looking to get back into management and is seeking a role outside of Italy. The 44-year-old has been out of work since being unceremoniously sacked by Inter Milan last summer.
He has been linked with a host of jobs since then, with opportunities springing up across Europe.
Mancini is now believed to be in the running for the vacant post at Bayern Munich, following their dismissal of Jurgen Klinsmann, and it appears that the time may be right for him to step back into football.
“It’s possible I will be back next season, as long as there are valid opportunities I will examine them,” he told Sky Italia. “We cannot make names, but my first thought is to go abroad. There are no preferences, I will decide once a possibility arrives, but for now there is nothing concrete.”
On the issue of looking to move abroad, Mancini said:
“After many years in Italy it’s right to try a different experience. “Would I say no to Milan and Juventus? They are two great clubs, but they are unrealistic and not possible at the present time.”
Where do you think that Mancini will end up next season?
