Pescara playmaker Marco Verratti is in talks with Paris St Germain with a view to completing a move to the French giants, according to his agent.
The 19-year-old, who proved crucial in helping Pescara gain promotion to Serie A for next season, appears set to move to the Ligue 1 outfit in a reported 14million euro deal this summer.
“We had our first meeting with PSG and it was very productive,” said Verratti’s agent Donato Di Campli to Gazzetta dello Sport.
“All the parties involved have spoken and stated their requirements and I can say that Paris St Germain have shown a great interest in the player.
“We have been impressed by the stadium and by the club headquarters.
“We have given ourselves a couple of days to reflect and we will meet again in the next few days either in Milan or Paris.”
Verratti, who is one of the most promising young Italian players has made 74 appearances for Pescara since making his debut at the age of 16.
The Italy Under-21 international is also a reported target of Juventus and Napoli but by all indications he will be playing in France next season.
