Karim Benzema has been linked with a move away from Real Madrid all summer, but the French forward has reiterated his desire to stay at the Santiago Bernabeu next season.
“I’ve not spoken with anybody. I’m at Madrid and I want to succeed here. Nothing more. I’m at Madrid, which is the important thing,” he said.
Regarding his relationship with Mourinho, Benzema said:
“It’s very good, there’s no problem with him, he’s a great coach for me. Last season was good for me because I scored a lot of goals. He always helps me. It’s normal that Madrid want to sign the best players in the world. I’m going to work hard to be able to play. I’m 100 per cent. It’s not a problem for me that they want to sign strikers.”
