Serie A champions Juventus have signed midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah and full-back Mauricio Isla from fellow UEFA Champions League contenders Udinese.
Juventus will pay €9m and €9.4m respectively for 50% of the two players’ license, with Udinese keeping the remaining half.
Meanwhile, Juventus attacking midfielder Cristian Pasquato will move to Udinese under similar terms for €1.5m. The 23-year-old Asamoah started his career in his native Ghana with Liberty Professionals, joined Bellinzona in 2007 and Udinese the following year. In four seasons at the Friuli Stadium he scored eight goals in 114 Serie A games.
The 24-year-old right-back Isla, capped 32 times for Chile, has scored six times in 127 top-flight games since joining Udinese in 2007. Juventus will start their 2012/13 UEFA Champions League campaign in the group stage.
Udinese, meanwhile, have made two additions of their own. Brazilian midfielder Allan, 21, arrives from CR Vasco da Gama, while 19-year-old Polish goalkeeper Wojciech Pawłowski has been acquired from KS Lechia Gdańsk. Both have been signed for undisclosed fees.
