It’s a familiar scenario. Liverpool’s Steven Gerrard is playing in a major tournament for England and rumors are swirling around that he is abot to leave Liverpool for a team coached by Jose Mourinho.
In 2006 Chelsea was the reported destination for Gerrard and now it is Bernabeu.
Real Madrid have reportedly spoken to Gerrard’s agent Struan Marshall several times and believe that the Liverpool captain is ready to make the move to Spain and La Liga.
Liverpool will demand £25million for the 30-year old midfielder. That is a little high for Real Madrid president Florentino Perez taste, but something in the £15-20milliom range would be a price that both clubs would be happy with.
