Newspaper reports in the UK say that several MLS clubs are lining up to sign former Notts County (and England) defender Sol Campbell.
Campbell has always spoken about his desire to play in the U.S. and the LA Galaxy, New York Red Bulls and new side Philadelphia Union are all reportedly interested in signing Campbell for the 2010 season.
That the Galaxy are interested confirms that David Beckham will not be back in an LA shirt next season.
The 34-year old Campbell is available after walking out on Notts County after one game partly because he did not like the training pitch, the dressing room, etc at County. If he comes to MLS I wonder what we will think about flying commercial plans to games and playing on non-grass fields?
