Big news today from the defending Spanish and European champions that Andres Iniesta will miss the huge champions league tie with AC Milan on Wednesday with a thigh injury.
A statement on the club’s website confirmed that the midfielder will not travel to Italy as “a precaution”, joining the suspended Dani Alves and injured duo Adriano and Ibrahim Afellay on the sidelines.
While both AC Milan and Barcelona have already qualified from Group H to the knockout stages, the winner of this match will finish first in the group. Whoever loses will get a much tougher draw for the round of 16.
The sides drew 2-2 when they met at the Camp Nou in September.
