There had been a lot of speculation about where AC Milan midfielder Gennaro Gattuso was going to be playing next year. He ended that speculation Monday with the news that he had added another year to his contract with the Rossoneri which will take him through to the end of the 2011/12 campaign.
The 31-year-old Italian international has only made 7 appearances in Serie A this season due to injuries. A FIFA World Cup winner with Italy in 2006, Gattuso joined Milan in 1999 from Salernitana Sport. He has won the Scudetto once and the UEFA Champions League twice among other trophies with the Rossoneri.
