England have announced that they will play a friendly against Egypt on Wednesday March 3 at Wembley. England have been drawn in the same group as Algeria, and Fabio Capello wanted an opponent who plays a similar style as Algeria.
England are also looking at at adding a friendly at home with Mexico in May, which would serve as a warm-up to the opening game against the United States. In addition there are rumors of a final friendly against Japan, that would be played in late May at the end of England’s World Cup pre-tournament training camp in Austria.
