There is no doubt that Chelsea re trying to get younger and faster for next season. After buying Torres and Luiz in January, reports in Spain say that Chelsea have offered Udinese £30m for striker Alexis Sanchez.

The Chile international, 22, is one of the hottest properties in Europe this season, and he scored four goals in just 30 minutes against Palermo last week.

And, according to Spanish newspaper El Mundo Deportivo, Chelsea and Inter Milan have both firmed up their interest with bids of at least £30m.

Sources close to Sanchez have also revealed that a major Spanish club is also poised to bid, although they would not confirm whether it is Barcelona or not.

In light of this week’s developments, Sanchez’s agent Fernando Felicevich flew to Italy to meet Udinese bosses to discuss the player’s future.
