Martin Caceres has moved a step closer to sealing his move to Juventus after passing his medical with the Serie A side.
The Uruguay defender is poised to move to the Stadio Olimpico on a year-long loan deal with an option to buy.
“I’m living a dream,” he said. “I’m bringing with me the winning spirit of Barcelona to Juventus.”
Caceres was signed from Villarreal for around 16.5million euros just last year but has failed to make an impact at Camp Nou.
He only made 13 league appearances as Barca stormed to the treble and has been deemed surplus to requirements by Pep Guardiola. Juve will have to shell out a reported 12million euros if they want to sign the 22-year-old on a permanent basis next summer.
