Antonio Conte Agrees To Join Inter Milan This Summer

Stunning news from Turin based Tuttosport, that former Juventus manager Antonio Conte has agreed to join Inter at the end of the season.

The current Chelsea manager has accepted a huge four year deal worth €15m per season from Suning. The former Italy boss is said to have given the OK to join the club after the offer was raised from €11m.

Legal representatives from Suning are now said to be in negotiations with Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich in order to agree a release from his current contract.

Conte has been brilliant at Chelsea this season, taking the 10 points clear of Tottenham at the top of the Premier League and in line to win the Premier League title.

If true, what does this mean for Stefano Pioli and Diego Simeone?

Pioli has steadied the ship at Inter since replacing the fired Frank De Boer in November. But recent defeats to Juventus and Roma have left many Inter fans questioning whether Pioli is the man to take Inter to that next level where they are once again challenging for titles.

Former Inter star and current Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone has been heavily linked with a return to the San Siro for a better part of a year. But with his recent comments that he will see out the final year of his contract in Spain next season, it appears that Suning have decided that they cannot wait for Simeone, and that they need to bring in a world class manager now. And it appears that person will be Antonio Conte.
