Former Manchester United legend Paul Scholes obviously touched a nerve last week when he claimed that Di Maria is not in “the same happy mood” he displayed, while playing for Real Madrid.
Angel Di Maria’s wife, Jorgelina Cardoso, has taken to Instagram to deny reports that the midfielder is unhappy at Manchester United.
Di Maria has been brilliant for United this season, scoring three goals and assisting on five others in nine Premier League appearances.
Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo was openly critical of the Champions League holders for letting Di Maria leave the the Liga club, and media reports in Spain have suggested that Carlo Ancelotti is considering letting Gareth Bale move to United in a swap deal to bring the Argentine back.
But Jorgelina Cardoso has responded brilliantly to Scholes’s claim by posting a picture of her husband’s laughing and enjoying life in Manchester.
