When AC Milan sold Kaka to Real Madrid, they not only lost their best player, but about 16,000 season ticket holders failed to to renew their tickets.
Adriano Galliani, the AC Milan managing director announced:
“The thing that really gets me is that we have 16,000 less season tickets than last year. We will launch a special season ticket starting from the first game of the second half of the season.”
There is optimism around the San Siro these days as Milan is 3rd in Serie A after a slow start, and after taking four points out of six from Real Madrid, Milan finds itself leading their Champions League group with two games to go.
Plus in January, a certain David Beckham will be returning on loan to Milan from the LA Galaxy, and that is expected to increase demand for tickets at the San Siro also.
