AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has brushed aside reports claiming his club is interested in signing Inter Milan goalkeeper Julio Cesar.
Julio Cesar has been strongly linked with a move away from Inter this summer with the Nerazzurri outfit set to sign Udinese goalkeeper Samir Handanovic as his replacement.
Reports in Italy claim Milan have joined in the race to sign the Brazil international, who is also a reported target of Roma.
“He (Julio Cesar) is a very good goalkeeper but we are not interested in him,” Galliani said to Gazzetta dello Sport.
“We already have three goalkeepers and we are fine as we are.
“We recently signed Gabriel, a young Brazilian goalkeeper.”
Cannot see Julio Cesar moving across to the red side of Milan. If he leaves Inter, and I think he will this summer, it will be to either either another Serie A club or a Spanish club. I cannot see him moving to a Premier League club, especially after his poor play the last two seasons.
