AC Milan’s 4-0 win at Pescara yin midwee left them four points clear of Fiorentina with just two games to play. So a win against Roma this weekend would wrap up Champions League qualification.
“We got three important points yesterday and we have to keep going now,” Robinho, who has started just ten league games and scored only twice this season, told Milan Channel. “Our objective is third place and we hope to get it on Sunday. We played well in Pescara and we deserved to win. I feel good and I hope to do well in next season’s Champions League.
“It would be nice to celebrate third place with our won fans and we hope it’ll be a good Sunday. It’ll be important next season to have Balotelli from the start.”
Balotelli has been brilliant since arriving from Manchester City striker in January as the graphic below shows:
Super Mario has 11 goals in 11 games in the league and he will be looking to add to that this week against a Roma side that have the second-worst defensive record in Serie A.
