If you’re a fan of Spanish soccer, then there’s a good chance you’ve been to the Metropolitano Stadium to watch Atletico Madrid play. I had the opportunity to visit the stadium earlier this year, and I have to say, it was an amazing experience. Here’s what it was like.
Walking into the stadium, I was immediately struck by its size. The Metropolitano Stadium can seat more than 67,000 people, and every seat in the house was filled.
The Atmosphere inside the stadium was incredible. The energy was palpable as soon as I walked through the gates. The fans were cheering and chanting nonstop throughout the entire game. I have never seen anything like it. It was truly an electric atmosphere.
The food inside the stadium was also quite good. I had a delicious chorizo sandwich and some refreshing sangria. I was worried that the food would be overpriced and not very good, but I was pleasantly surprised.
