NYC FC captain David Villa might have named MLS Player of the Week for his performance against the New England Revolution last week, but he does not even make the whoscored.com starting XI.
The whoscored.com ratings are statistically driven and while Villa played well against the Revs, his 8.8 rating was not enough to dislodge either San Jose striker Chris Wondolowski or Dallas striker Blas Pérez, who tied for the best performance in week two with a score of 9.2.
