The Derby d’Italia is always a tense affair due to the intense rivalry between Juventus and Inter, but rarely do we see the pressure cause players from the same team square up against each other.
That is what happened on Tuesday when Mauro Icardi and fellow strike partner Dani Osvaldo disagreed on Icardi’s decision to shoot instead of passing it to the former Juve striker.
Clearly enraged with Icardi’s selfishness, Osvaldo made his displeasure known to his compatriot in a scene that was quite reminiscent of Cameroon’s in-house squabble during their 4-0 loss to Croatia at this summer’s World Cup.
