Frequently Asked Questions About Buying AC Milan Tickets
Can I buy AC Milan tickets from you?
AC Milan tickets are available for purchase via our AC Milan ticket partner Sports Events 365.
Where should I sit in San Siro?
There is the Green Stand, also known as the Curva Nord, the Arancio Stand that’s in the East, the Blu Stand that’s also called the Curva Sud, and the Rosso Stand that’s located in the West.
How do I get to San Siro?
It takes a little under 20 minutes to get from Piazza Duomo to the stadium. Alternatively, the stadium can be reached with tram 16. Take the tram in the centre of Milan (west of Piazza Duomo) to San Siro Stadio, the last stop on the line. The journey takes about half an hour.
For the Milan Derby: Where should I sit?
Look for a seat on the sideline and not behind the goals. The AC Milan ultras are in the blu section behind the goal. Inter would be opposite, verde section.

Fans Experience AC Milan
For any soccer fan, going to see their favorite team play is a dream come true. I was finally able to make this dream come true by seeing AC Milan play at the San Siro. The San Siro, also known as the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, is a must-visit for any fan of Italian soccer.
As the home of both AC Milan and Inter Milan, it is one of the most historic and famous stadiums in the world. I was lucky enough to visit the San Siro on a trip to Italy last year and it did not disappoint. Here is my experience as a fan attending a match at the San Siro.
Getting AC Milan Tickets
The first step is obviously getting tickets to the game. I would suggest looking on the team’s website or StubHub. Tickets usually go on sale a few weeks before the game, so it’s important to buy them as soon as possible. AC Milan tickets are available for purchase via our AC Milan ticket partner Sports Events 365.
Planning Your Trip
If you’re coming from out of town, you should plan your trip in advance and book your hotel room(s) early. hotels in the city center will be more expensive but they’ll be closer to the stadium. If you’re on a budget, then staying in a hotel further away from the stadium is probably your best bet. There are also a lot of Airbnbs available in the city center if you’re looking for something different. Just make sure that wherever you’re staying is close to public transportation because traffic around the stadium can get pretty bad on game day.
Getting to the San Siro
There are two ways to get to the stadium: by car or by public transportation. Like I said before, traffic around the stadium can be really bad so I would recommend taking public transportation if possible. The stadium is located right next to two metro stations: San Siro Stadio and San Siro Ippodromo station. You can also take bus 94 from Central Station which will drop you off right outside the stadium.
What To Expect When You Get There
As soon as you approach the stadium, you can feel the history emanating from it. The San Siro was first built in 1925 and has been home to some of the most iconic moments in soccer history. Walking through the gates and into the stadium concourse, I was immediately struck by how massive the stadium is. It can seat over 80,000 fans, which makes it one of the largest soccer stadiums in Europe.
When you get to the stadium, there will be a lot of people milling about and selling Milan merchandise like jerseys, hats, and scarves. There are also food vendors selling pizza, chicken sandwiches, chips, and drinks like water and beer. You can bring your own food and drinks into the stadium but security might check your bag before letting you in so it’s probably not worth it. Inside the stadium, there are seats for both home and away fans so find your section and take your seat. The game will start promptly at 7:45pm so don’t be late! After 90 minutes of exciting soccer match, hopefully your team has won and you can celebrate with other fans!
I made my way to my seat and settled in for what promised to be an exciting match between two of Italy’s most storied clubs. And I wasn’t disappointed—the match ended up being a back-and-forth affair with each team having its share of scoring opportunities. In the end, AC Milan came out on top 2-1, much to the delight of the home fans in attendance.
Going to see AC Milan play at San Siro was an amazing experience that I’m never going to forget. If you love soccer, then I would highly recommend going to see a match in person at least once in your life. Just make sure to buy your tickets early and plan your trip ahead of time so everything goes smoothly! Thanks for reading and enjoy the game!
