Conte To Be Back At Juventus Next Season

ConteThe ongoing contract squabbles between Serie A champions Juventus and their manager Antonio Conte have been put on hold for a while after Conte committed to returning to Juve next season, despite is contract being up in a years time.

I don’t understand why Juventus are not signing up, arguably the third best young manager in the game to a long term contract extension. All he has done since replacing Luigi Delneri in May 2011, is lead Juventus to three consecutive Serie A titles, in which this season he set a new club record with 102 points.

However, their elimination from the Champions League in the group stage and defeat to Benfica in the semifinals of the Europa League cast doubts over Conte’s future with the coach admitting that their struggles in Europe had got him thinking about whether he can take this team any further.

According to The Corriere dello Sport, talks between Conte and Juve over an extension are set to be revisited, but only in a few months from now

Conte has been linked previously with a move to French side Monaco, and with Claudio Ranieri being fired today, the Italian Champions are leaving themselves open to a big money offer for their manager.
