The ink is barely dry on the 2012-13 Serie A fixture list and already Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis is complaining about Napoli’s fixture list.
“The final round looks like it was made for Juventus and Milan.”
The calendar was drawn up today and the last games on May 19 2013 will be Roma v Napoli, Inter v Udinese, Siena v Milan and Sampdoria v Juventus.
“The final round looks like it was made for Juventus and Milan. We know that there are children and stepchildren in the Lega,” said the patron.
De Laurentiis famously stormed out of the ceremony last year when he was furious at the big games Napoli had to face near to their Champions League commitments.
“There’s nothing except mistakes. Someone always gets involved and then one has to ask ‘what is behind these calendars?’
“The last round ought to be more balanced for everyone. It is going to be interesting, but unbalanced.
“It’s like there is one class, then the rest have to put up with more and more things. In life I have always seen the glass half-empty.”
