Gazzetta dello Sport reports that AC Milan financial problems are so bad that they cannot pay the transfer fee for Kaka this year, and instead want to take him on loan for a year with an option to purchase Kaka in 2013.
Milan CEO Adriano Galliani has already hinted that a move to re-sign the Brazilian international is close, with Kaka’s agent confirming on Wednesday that talks have already taken place.
Further speculation has been fuelled by Milan’s official website, due to the release of their squad numbers for the 2012-13 campagin. The Rossoneri have left Kaka’s former number – 22- unassigned, with the belief that they will be able to bring the 2007 Ballon d’Or winner back to the San Siro.
However, Milan are unable to afford the 30-year-old without Real Madrid’s help as they are only willing to offer Kaka a salary of €5 million rather than the €10m he currently earns. Milan is hoping that Madrid will pick up the other half of Kaka’s wages.
Reports across Spain suggest that Madrid want an offer in the region of €25m, but the Serie A side don’t have the money to pay that sort of fee, despite selling Silva and Ibrahimovi to PSG recently for a reported €65m.
Galliani is expected to arrange a meeting with Madrid president Florentino Perez in the next coming days to discuss the proposal of a loan deal. Jose Mourinho is desperate to get rid of Kaka, and we will see in the next couple of days how desperate he is.
