Julio Cesar could be the latest Inter player to have his contract terminated as Inter’s cost cutting continues.
Inter have been focused on getting younger this summer, and they have already released Lucio and Diego Forlan this summer, rather than pay their sizeable wages.
The goalkeeper is on the market and has been left off the UEFA squad list for the Europa League preliminary rounds and his agent flew in to Milan last night and is reportedly negotiating for a contract termination.
This also suits Inter, who would therefore be released from paying his €4.5m per season wages until the deal expires in June 2014.
