Serie A co-leaders Juventus have signed Marco Borriello on loan from AS Roma until the end of the season and have the option to make the move permanent in the summer for around €8m.
The 29-year-old Borriello scored eleven goals for Roma while on loan from AC Milan last season but after joining Roma permanently during the summer he has struggled to win a regular role under new coach Luis Enrique, starting only two league games.
While Juventus are still unbeaten in Serie A and level with AC Milan on 34 points at the top of the league, they have often been wasteful in front of goal and with striker Milos Krasic out of favour they have needed another striker.
