Lazio have made in their seventh summer signing after reaching an agreement to sign midfielder Lorik Cana from Galatasaray for an undisclosed fee.
Albanian international Cana, who will turn 28 on 27 July, began his career in Ligue 1 after emerging from the Paris Saint-Germain youth system, and from there he joined Marseille in 2005. He spent four seasons at the Mediterranean club, followed by a year at Premier League side Sunderland ahead of his arrival in Turkey in summer 2010.
Last month, the versatile midfielder won his 50th cap for Albania in their 2-0 EURO 2012 qualifying Group D loss to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Lazio have already bolstered their ranks significantly ahead of their Europa League campaign. They have brought in Miroslav Klose, Djibril Cissé, Federico Marchetti, Abdoulay Konko, Senad Lulić and Marius Stankevičius.
