After Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson said last week that rising star Federico Macheda would go on loan for the rest of the season, at least four Serie A clubs have expressed interest in signing the Man United striker.
Macheda’s agent Giovanni Bia insists there is nothing concrete in the pipeline just yet, although there are a number of clubs interested in his services.
“I can say that Inter, Juventus, Fiorentina and Lazio are all clubs that potentially could take the player, but so far there’s only speculation, nothing concrete,” he told tuttomercatoweb. “Now that Sir Alex Ferguson has given his okay for an eventual departure, we’ll see what happens. I returned to Italy on Wednesday and I’m just working on finding a solution. There is plenty of time before the market closes.”
Macheda has made just seven Premier League appearances this term and the Red Devils boss believes he will now benefit from regular football.
